Hundreds throng church to see 'miracle' picture(With malice towards one & all)
Serpentine queues were seen outside St Michael’s church, Mumbai, where blood has been seen on a portrait of Jesus Christ, after the last service in the Church on Friday night, 28 June 2008. The dark red patch around the heart on a painting of Jesus Christ has grown since it was discovered. People queued for up to six hours to spend just two seconds in front of the painting.
News of the ‘miracle’ spread fast and believers from Goa, Karnataka and Gujarat have made the pilgrimage to see the 3 by 4 foot painting. Several local schools gave children the day off to visit the church.
My Comments: Any person with a little common sense would understand that the heavy rains, have dampened the walls & moisture in the air, must have entered the frame, since the painting, was done by a local artist & had just been purchased. The church has also admitted the same.
Miracles can never take place in our present modern world of science. Perhaps if this event had to take place a few hundred years earlier, it would have definitely been proclaimed a miracle & millions of people would have converted to Christianity.
